LUKMED rehabilitation center came to life in the year 2009. The idea of creating comprehensive medical center came from many years of observing the market and working in health care business. Our office was created with help of subsidy from "Szkoła Przedsiębiorczości UJ - Innowacje i biznes" Program Operacyjny Kapitał Ludzki (działanie 6.2) executed by Jagiellonian’s University - Wszechnica UJ i Centrum Innowacji Transferu Technologii i Rozwoju Uniwersytetu (CITTRU) and also due to support of many physicians and doctors specialized in this field.
Our activity is based on creating comprehensive medical rehabilitation directed mainly towards pregnant women, young moms, children and youth with posture disorders and all people in need of rehabilitation. Our goal is to reach to the conscious people whose concern is their own good health and the health of those closest to them. To fulfill the needs of our clients we hire only the highly qualified personnel. Our staff consist of physicians (orthopedist, rehabilitation specialist, rheumatologist, gynecologist). We have the most up to date devices for physical treatment (laser-therapy, electrotherapy, cryotherapy, light therapy). We operate on a basis of modern therapeutic methods which includes PNF, McKenzie, Mulligan, Taping. Our center performs many medical massages for relaxation, therapy, slimming. There are activities for women during pregnancy, young mothers, also correctional gymnastics for children and youth. To reach our patients who stay in their homes we provide domestic visits.
Our target is to provide medical rehabilitation services of the best quality according to medical art and what is more to shorten patients’ waiting time for procedures to absolute minimum.
